The Receptionist and Marketing Communications Coordinator will play a crucial role in representing the Menlo Country Club brand. This individual will be responsible for overseeing front desk operations while executing marketing communications tasks as directed by the Membership and Communications Director. ABOUT MENLO COUNTRY CLUB Menlo Country Club is a family-oriented, non-business social club that emphasizes formality, decorum, club etiquette, friendliness, and respect among members, their families, guests, and staff. Established in 1904, it features an 18-hole championship golf course, four tennis courts, six overnight cottages, a 39,000-square-foot clubhouse, and a Pool Fitness Building equipped with a fitness center and seasonal snack bar. The club operates six days a week, year-round. RESPONSIBILITIES · Oversee and manage club reservations, including dining bookings, cottage reservations, and event registrations · Greet and welcome members, answer calls, and direct them to the appropriate staff or departments · Communicate accurate information across departments · Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and presentable · Monitor emails sent to the front desk, responding promptly and professionally to member inquiries and feedback, offering assistance or solutions to ensure satisfaction · Perform administrative and clerical duties as assigned · Create marketing materials such as event flyers, TV signage, directional signs, buffet signs, reservation signs, menus, and more · Collaborate with department heads and committees to meet campaign deadlines · Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all marketing materials · Write copy for announcements, blog posts, and other marketing channels · Assist in overseeing the publication of signage, promotions, and campaigns · Implement and monitor marketing communication strategies REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS · Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a sense of ownership, and willingness to learn · Customer service-oriented with organizational and multitasking abilities · Excellent communication skills · Microsoft Office PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS The ideal candidate will have an educational background, work experience, or skills in marketing, content creation, communications, hospitality, or equivalent experience or skills in these fields. · Canva · Digital Marketing Analytics · Data Entry · SEO/SEM basics · Adobe Pro/Creative Cloud (Lightroom, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) · Communications Strategy or Marketing Strategy · Digital Marketing · Email Marketing · Content Management Systems · Project Management Tools · Branding · Copywriting EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
