MEMCO is hiring for a Senior Drywall Estimator in Atlanta! MEMCO is assisting a well-established commercial construction company in their search for a skilled Senior Drywall Estimator to join their team. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for selling, estimating, pricing, closing commercial construction project deals as well as building strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate has proven experience with business development, cost estimating, project management and safety leadership. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain customer relationships to support business growth. • Identify and bid on target projects, managing estimating from take-offs to final pricing. • Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes. • Influence project scope and solutions to create mutually beneficial outcomes. • Lead safety initiatives, proactively addressing safety issues to achieve positive outcomes. Qualifications: • 5+ years of proven experience in commercial construction industry selling, estimating, pricing and closing projects (drywall or general contracting preferred) • Able to pass a 10-panel pre-employment drug screen • Bachelor's degree in construction management/related field of study or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent work experience • Previous project management experience (preferred) • Working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word and Excel • Experienced with using estimating and/or project management software, including Quick Bid, On-Screen Take-Off, Bluebeam, etc. • Reliable transportation to travel to branch offices and different jobsites • Able to work a varied schedule in a fast-paced environment For immediate consideration please submit your resume to atlanta@memcostaffing.com and call our office at (770)578-8557.
