Overview Product Manager – Job Description The Product Manager works on a fast-paced, innovative technology team to create industry-leading applications that are critical to Medical Solutions’ success. They play a central role in performing product discovery activities, gathering user insights, defining product requirements, and collaborating with Engineering and Design teams to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations. The Product Manager collaborates with executives, stakeholders, and key clients to make informed prioritization decisions and work closely with teammates in Engineering and Design to create innovative products that align with the company’s vision and exceed customer expectations. The level of autonomy of the role and the complexity of the product area will depend on individual skill sets and the needs of the team. The role requires fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous discovery to align product initiatives with company objectives and to deliver measurable business outcomes. Responsibilities Leadership & Collaboration Act as a subject matter expert for the product area, confidently representing it in executive meetings and external engagement Build trust with stakeholders by proactively collaborating on priorities and ensuring alignment with business objectives Product Discovery & Innovation Own product discovery efforts, including conducting customer interviews, usability testing, and market analysis to identify opportunities and validate ideas Analyze market research and competitive assessments to identify trends and opportunities for differentiation Engage with users to gather actionable insights and incorporate feedback into product planning and design Explore multiple solution options using data and user feedback to determine the most valuable and viable opportunities Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Research teams to test prototypes and iterate based on user insights Conduct experiments such as prototypes, A/B testing, and MVP launches to mitigate risks and validate assumptions Strategy & Roadmap Alignment Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with company objectives and adapts to market trends Align the roadmap with key metrics and prioritize work based on business impact and strategic goals Evaluate and adapt the strategy and roadmap in response to stakeholder feedback, data insights, and changing market conditions User Story Creation & Backlog Management Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine epics/features/user stories with clear, actionable acceptance criteria. Maintain a well-structured product backlog, ensuring clarity in prioritization based on customer needs and company goals. Collaborate with partner teams (e.g., engineering, user experience) to bring products to market and achieve targeted outcomes. Execution & Delivery Work closely with Engineering, Design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, high-impact product releases Support go-to-market strategies, including product launches and adoption plans, in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams Continuous Improvement Define success metrics and use data-driven insights to iterate and improve products continuously Monitor product performance metrics post-launch, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation Seek out industry trends and insights, integrating new learnings into product strategies and processes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 2+ years of experience in product management or related roles. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Proficiency with Agile methodologies. Experience in product discovery techniques, such as customer interviews, assumption mapping and rapid prototyping. Familiarity with key metrics for assessing product performance and success. Experience in the Healthcare Staffing industry is not required, but would be a strong plus.
