Business Development Manager – Orthopedic & Spine Contract Manufacturing Remote (U.S.) A fast-growing global contract manufacturer, exclusively focused on orthopedics and spine, is expanding its U.S. commercial presence and looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive that growth. About the Role We’re looking for a true hunter, someone who enjoys selling, thrives on building relationships, and understands the orthopedic and spine device OEM landscape. You’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, growing key accounts, and helping OEM customers bring their implant, instrument, and related technologies from concept to commercialization. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow revenue across orthopedic and spine OEM customers • Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close • Build strong relationships with engineering, sourcing, and leadership teams • Partner closely with internal operations, engineering, and program management to ensure successful delivery • Track industry trends and competitive activity to position the company’s capabilities effectively • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer site visits Qualifications • Experience selling CMO/contract manufacturing services within the orthopedic and/or spine medical device market • Strong understanding of implants, instruments, precision machining, additive manufacturing, or related technologies • A natural relationship-builder with strong communication and consultative selling skills • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently • Able to travel 30–40% • Must live near a major U.S. airport Compensation & Benefits • Base salary: $120,000–$150,000 • On-target earnings: $175,000–$200,000+ uncapped • Full benefits package, including medical/dental/vision • 401(k), expenses, cell, laptop, etc. Apply using the link below or please send an updated resume to: careers@mdrsource.com
