Responsibilities • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service. • Supervise and train staff on food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures. • Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices. • Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately. • Support staff development through training and performance evaluations. • Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets and improve operational efficiency. • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas. Skills • Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager in a quick service or fast food environment. • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards. • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. • Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions. • Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is advantageous. • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training & development. • Solid understanding of inventory control processes and budgeting practices. • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. • Background in hospitality management or culinary experience is preferred.
