Located in Houston, TX Morales Beverage Group seeks an Warehouse Associate, Inbound for the Farmers Branch location. Warehouse Associate, Inbound Company: MBG Texas Position Title: Warehouse Inbound Job Title: Warehouse Associate Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor Position Code: Inbound Position Type: Full-Time Hourly, Non-Exempt EEO Class: 8 Workers Comp Code: 8292, SOC Class: 53-7062 JOB DESCRIPTION Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including order selection, cleaning and maintaining inventory accuracy directed by the warehouse management team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operate assigned handheld unit to create labels; correctly place labels on product. Hand selects orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including non-temperature controlled, temperature controlled and bonded holding area. Stack product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (for example: do not stack heavy on light product, labels must face out, etc.). Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport product. Stage selected pallets for loading on proper dock locations. Follow sanitation requirements in order to comply with policy set forth by the Company. Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, handheld unit, and personal protective equipment. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and safely operate all mechanical equipment. Follow MBG preferred work methods at all times, and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions. Shrink-wrap product on loading dock. Attend all required company meetings and daily safety meetings. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Physically capable of frequently lifting products weighing 1-75 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 100 lbs. Must be able to reach heights of up to 72 inches, and perform constant bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods while operating equipment and retrieving items from lower shelves. Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to tasks. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Excellent communication skills. Ability to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Capability to work in non-temperature-controlled warehouse settings or delivery field environments. QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 21 years of age. Previous experience working in a warehouse environment. Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures. Must be able to pass a background and drug screening for hire and randomly throughout employment. This role requires flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Each employee is assigned a regular start time on their first day, which remains in effect unless the role or schedule changes due to business need. When possible, schedule changes will be communicated at least one week in advance. Employees are expected to stay until all assigned duties are completed.
