Your Role at Delta Faucet The Business Intelligence (BI) Lead serves as the Trade Channel organizational authority on data, analytics, and storytelling, driving how the organization collects, manages, visualizes, and interprets information to guide business decisions. This role leads the development and execution of the Business Intelligence roadmap, accounting for current and future needs of the business. As a change agent, champions data literacy and data-informed decision making. Responsibilities Strategy / BI Leadership: Define and execute the Business Intelligence roadmap, aligned with the Trade organization strategy, setting priorities, milestones, and success metrics. Champion data literacy and democratization across teams, empowering stakeholders to make informed, insight-driven, and timely decisions. Serve as the primary liaison to the BI Leadership Council, representing Trade Sales in cross-functional data strategy, governance, and artificial intelligence (AI) discussions. Collaborate with the organization and cross functional stakeholders to improve data acquisition, analysis, and synthesis for strategic growth projects. Informs business of emerging capabilities and data providers to enhance BI operations. Data Architecture: Own and manage Trade data architecture, including collection, quality, and storage of: customer point-of-sale data, builder specifications, and program submissions. Align Trade data within the company’s enterprise data governance framework, ensuring integration with other core business systems. Define data requirements, schema, and transformation logic in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders. Data Visualization: Lead the creation of interactive dashboards, reports, and visual tools that enable data-driven decision-making across functions within the Trade organization. Establish KPIs as a “single source of truth” for trade channel performance measurement, ensuring consistent metrics and definitions across the organization. Develop intuitive design standards and visualization best practices that promote clarity, usability, and adoption. Drive user enablement through training, documentation, and reinforcement to ensure effective and consistent use of BI tools. Analysis & Insight Development: Synthesize large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that drive business understanding and action. Conduct diagnostic and predictive analyses to determine what happened, why it happened, and what it indicates for future performance. Translate insights into clear narratives and recommendations that influence strategic and tactical decisions. Partner with stakeholders to design and deliver ad hoc analyses, presentations, and reports that support key initiatives and leadership priorities. Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in data science, business analytics, information systems, or related field Experience: 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data architecture, with demonstrated leadership responsibility. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and data management technologies (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, Azure, Python) Demonstrated experience in building dashboards and reports that drive business decisions and adoption. Proven ability to design and manage data architecture that supports enterprise-scale analytics. Competencies Customer-focused with strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
