Job Description for Prep Cook: The main responsibility of the Prep Cook is to prepare and cook a variety of food items following established recipes, ensuring that they meet specific quality and appearance standards. They are also responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and organized, following food safety protocols rigorously, and working alongside other kitchen staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience. The Prep Cook is essential for tasks such as food preparation, portioning, storage, and presentation, all within a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications for Prep Cook: • A high school diploma or its comparable G.E.D. certificate is a prerequisite. • One year of related employment background is necessary. • Skill in following cooking directions accurately and presenting dishes as specified. • There is no need for prior experience in a supervisory position. • Capability to excel in independent tasks as well as in team-based endeavors.
