The Role: The Director of Marketing is a strategic, data-driven leader responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing programs that accelerate brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role oversees performance marketing, field marketing, product marketing, and cross-functional go-to-market initiatives that align with company objectives. The Director will partner closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to deliver measurable business impact across Marigold’s marketing ecosystem. What You’ll Do: Develop and execute multi-channel digital acquisition and demand generation strategies across paid search, paid social, display, SEO, email, and affiliate channels. Own pipeline, revenue targets, forecasting, and budget allocation across all digital marketing initiatives. Lead positioning, messaging, and value proposition development for Marigold products and solutions, informed by competitive and customer insights. Build and execute field marketing programs that support regional sales goals, including events, webinars, and account-based initiatives. Partner with cross-functional teams to align marketing activities with sales targets, product launches, and customer success strategies. Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure marketing effectiveness and communicate performance to executive stakeholders. Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team that thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. About You: You’re a hands-on marketing leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and analytics. You know how to balance high-level vision with tactical execution, inspire cross-functional alignment, and use data to drive decision-making. You’re passionate about building scalable programs that generate measurable business results and energize your team to continuously innovate and improve. Ideal Qualifications: 8–12+ years of progressive marketing experience, with proven success leading performance, field, and product marketing teams in a high-growth environment. Demonstrated ability to drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth through integrated marketing programs. Strong analytical mindset with experience in attribution modeling, funnel analytics, and ROI optimization. Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills. Experience managing cross-functional partnerships and presenting results to executive leadership. Proficiency with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Google Analytics, Looker). Nice to Have: MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. Experience in SaaS or MarTech industries. Exposure to brand strategy, corporate communications, or investor relations initiatives. California SB 1162 Pay Transparency Notice In compliance with California’s Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act (SB 1162), we are disclosing the compensation range for roles that could be performed in California. For California residents only, the base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $150,000 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus of up to 15% for California residents. This range reflects the base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for the position in California. Actual compensation will be offered within this range, based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as permitted by California law. Similar positions located outside of California may be subject to different compensation structures.
