Veterinary hospital in Chester County Pennsylvania - specifically the Frazer/Malvern area - has a part time opening for receptionist/veterinary assistant position. We are a small animal clinic with three doctors. We see patients for routine or sick visits, surgeries and advanced dentistry procedures. We want an upbeat, quick learner who loves dogs and cats and would enjoy a smaller office with a relaxed atmosphere. We are privately owned! Primary duties involve answering phones, scheduling appointments, invoicing, preparing vaccines and setting up routine lab tests. Candidate would also be required to assist the doctors in the exam rooms with restraint of dogs and cats. Depending on the candidate's interest and training, veterinary technician duties could be learned or utilized to assist with anesthetic procedures, instrument prep, etc. Currently we are open until 6PM Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with shorter days on Wednesdays and Fridays. We do not have Saturday hours at the present time. We are looking for 2-3 days per week. No experience needed, just a friendly, outgoing person who will enjoy working with our staff and great clientele.
