Senior Technical Project Manager (Remote | Sri Lanka | US Time Zone) Join a fast-growing global tech and AI-enabled delivery team! We’re hiring a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead high-impact IT and automation-focused projects for global clients, ensuring clarity, execution excellence, and on-time delivery in a fast-scaling environment. This is a fully remote, Sri Lanka-based role aligned to US time zones, where you’ll collaborate across global teams and shape the success of high-visibility initiatives. Role Summary As the Senior Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of complex IT and automation projects — from scoping and planning to execution, delivery, and stakeholder management. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks and budgets, run Agile sprints or Waterfall phases as needed, and serve as the primary point of contact for US-based clients. Your leadership and project discipline will ensure smooth execution, predictable outcomes, and exceptional client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex client projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality targets are met. • Build and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, schedules, and dependencies. • Manage and communicate with US-based client stakeholders, building trust and ensuring expectations are aligned. • Coordinate cross-functional internal delivery teams across IT, automation, and operations. • Run Agile sprints and/or manage Waterfall phases depending on project requirements. • Maintain RAID logs, track project budgets, and ensure commercial accuracy. • Monitor project health, escalate risks, and report progress to executive leadership. • Drive clarity, remove blockers, and keep teams aligned toward delivery goals. Must-Have Qualifications • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally with US or global clients. • Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. • Experience leading IT development, automation, or tech-focused projects. • Proactive, highly organized approach to driving project outcomes. • Proficiency with project management tools (ClickUp, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, etc.). • Exceptional communication, leadership, and client-facing skills. • Strong skills in risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder alignment. • Ability to work US business hours. Nice-to-Have Skills • Background in automation delivery, digital transformation, or technical PMO work. • Experience in BPO, managed services, or global operations environments. • Familiarity with project financials, capacity planning, and operational scaling. Reporting Line & Working Pattern • Reports to: PMO Lead or Executive Delivery Leadership • Schedule: Fully remote, Sri Lanka-based, aligned to US time zones. • Agile ceremonies, cross-team collaboration, and regular client meetings included.
