Full Job Description This is a fully remote operational support role focused on managing and coordinating radiology workflows, not a front-desk or patient-facing position. Radiology Receptionists at Magdou Health act as the communication link between technologists, radiologists, and facility staff to make sure imaging studies (CTs, X-rays, ultrasounds) are read quickly and efficiently. The role involves monitoring turnaround times (TAT), sending alerts or follow-ups to radiologists, and coordinating urgent exams through multiple platforms. Responsibilities: • Monitor imaging studies in the LifeTrack PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) to ensure radiologists read and finalize them within a 30-minute window. • Message or call radiologists through RingCentral when turnaround times approach or exceed 20–30 minutes. • Track study statuses such as “Submitted,” “Verified,” “Dictated,” and “Final” to identify delays, especially for high-priority or STAT cases like strokes or traumas. • Relay messages between technologists and radiologists, such as addendum requests, missing images, or urgent read notifications. • Use the Magdou Health App (Odoo) to assign new imaging orders to the correct technologist based on region and modality (CT, X-ray, or Ultrasound). • Follow up with techs if they haven’t accepted an order within 10 minutes, and reassign as needed to maintain workflow coverage. • Coordinate communication with third-party teleradiology partners (like ATS) if cases are delayed or need corrections. • Prioritize and triage urgent exams, ensuring they’re read first and escalated appropriately. • Document updates and escalate issues (e.g., multiple delayed studies or system errors) to leadership when needed. • Collaborate with other receptionists and managers to maintain coverage and smooth handoffs across shifts." Requirements: • Flexibility a MUST • High School or equivalent (Required) • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) • Office equipment: 1 year (Preferred) • Prior experience in Radiology setting (preferred) • Knowledge of word processing • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality • Good problem-solving skills Essential Functions: • Monitors Rad problems studies in PACS and addresses issues as necessary • Tracks incomplete studies in PACS and requests necessary information for completion of exams • Documents call reports in PACS and assigns addendums to Radiologists for results communicated • Monitors PACS worklist and Scheduling App • Assists with communications between facilities and technologists Teamwork: • Participates cooperatively within the team to efficiently fulfill the goals and responsibilities. • Maintain/manage strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and other key stakeholders.
