Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Evening Manager at our Bronx, NY location. The Evening Manager will oversee daycare operations during evening hours, ensuring a safe, organized, and nurturing environment. Responsibilities include managing staff schedules, monitoring childcare activities, addressing parental concerns, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supporting the overall functionality of the daycare. The role also requires providing leadership to staff and fostering positive relationships with children and their families. Qualifications • Leadership and team management skills with the ability to oversee staff and maintain a positive work environment. • Strong organizational and scheduling abilities, including proficiency in time management. • Knowledge of childcare safety protocols, regulations, and best practices. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, children, and parents. • Experience in conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making. • First Aid/CPR certification is highly desirable. • Previous experience in daycare management or childcare is preferred. • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant college coursework or degree in child development, education, or a related field is a plus.
