Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Behavioral Assistant (BA) within the Intensive In-Community (IIC) services team at Lumina Mental Health. This role is located in Union, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Burlington and Camden counties in NJ, with some work-from-home/ in community flexibility. The Behavioral Assistant will support youth and families by providing in-home behavioral assistance, developing coping skills, and aiding in emotional regulation. Additionally, the BA will collaborate with other team members to implement individualized care plans and support the overall goals of the child's behavioral health interventions. Qualifications: Behavioral Assistant (BA) • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or related field (required) • Experience working with children, adolescents, or families in behavioral health, education, or youth services • Ability to implement behavior plans and coping strategies under clinical supervision • Strong communication, engagement, and redirection skills • Reliable transportation to provide services in homes, schools, and community settings • Culturally responsive and sensitive to diverse family needs ✅ Qualifications: Intensive In-Community (IIC) Clinician • Active NJ license (LCSW, LSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) in good standing • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field • Experience providing therapy to children, youth, and families (preferred: in home or community settings) • Strong skills in assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment planning • Ability to deliver evidence-based interventions in natural environments (home, school, community) • Commitment to family-centered, culturally competent care • Reliable transportation and flexible scheduling availability
