This position will provide prompt, accurate, courteous service to Clients, Account Managers, Producers and Company Personnel and should grow and develop talents and insurance knowledge to the highest level possible. Requirements The Job • Lead the marketing of personal insurance lines and nurturing client loyalty. • May seek out new business opportunities by adding new lines of coverage or limits to existing clients, cross selling to other divisions, and seeking referrals and cultivating relationships. • Meets with clients to discuss and handle insurance needs using independent judgment and discretion. • Analyze industry trends and partner with our team to enhance our offerings. • Serve as the pivotal link between the producers and other departments, seamlessly managing specialized coverage quotes. • Support the producers with pre-underwriting information, policy analysis, proposals/comparisons, and presentation preparation • Directly oversee and coordinate the delivery of all services to assigned clients throughout the policy cycle, including stewardship reports, delivery of risk control services, carrier meetings, claims reviews, preparation of coverage outlines, and marketing of emergent and renewal coverage requests. • Continually services Personal Lines accounts as assigned and aids in collections in accordance with agency policies, procedures and service standards. • Setup and prepare new account files per agency procedures and service standards. • Responsible for maintenance of policy detail in AMS360, Work Smart and accurate file documentation. • Assists other agency departments in securing and/or providing information necessary to issue appropriate policies in their department for which we have a mutual client. • Collects premiums per established agency procedures. • Ensures assigned accounts have been renewed or coverage has been bound on new business. • Investigates and resolves matters of significance on behalf of clients and management. • Coaches and mentors Account Managers and other less experienced members of the Personal Lines Team to ensure efficient and accurate servicing of client. • Fosters strong relationships with underwriters and carrier representatives and develops knowledge of carrier and underwriter administrative guidelines including on line rating programs. Qualifications Needed • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, agency management/company software; spreadsheets, and databases, scanning and e-mail attachments • Property & Casualty Agent/Broker license required. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred. • Minimum 5 – 10 years experience of related Personal Lines broker and/or carrier experience required. • Minimum 2 years experience managing/mentoring/coaching people preferred. • Professional insurance designation (CIC) preferred • Knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance, High Net Worth personal lines accounts, and products is essential. • Skilled in people management and time management. • Skilled in providing excellent customer service; active listening; developing inter-personal and/or client relations. • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, and attention to detail to ensure document accuracy.
