Loving Pets® is an SQF certified company operating under industry leading quality and safety standards. We are expanding fast and looking to add to our growing team! Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Quality Control Supervisor based in Cranbury, NJ. The role involves overseeing quality control processes, implementing and maintaining quality assurance programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Regular Responsibilities Include: • Monitor GMP and SQF protocols of daily operations. Reinforce good food safety practices throughout the facility. • Monitor and verify documents for Line Start Up, Quality Inspection, and Metal Detector Logs, as well as the QC portion of manufacturing paperwork and controlled documents. • Monitor and communicate with the sanitation team. • New Employee Onboarding as it relates to Food Safety and GMPs (once familiar with the program). • Complete GMP Weekly Inspection documentation. • Complete Thermometer Check for temperatures on all extruded products. • Perform AllerSnap swabbing and complete Equipment Cleaning Sheet Verification Tables. • Communicate with SQFP and Upper Management. • Communicate in QC Group Chats. • Translation through daily conversations and annual SQF training (if Spanish Speaking) Qualifications • Proficiency in Quality Control and Quality Management processes. • Strong background in implementing/enforcing Quality Assurance programs. • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Excellent organizational and communication abilities. • Experience in the pet product or food manufacturing industry is a plus. • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Quality Management, Manufacturing, or Food Science, is preferred.
