Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Batching Department Supervisor on 2nd Shift based in Cranbury, NJ. The role involves overseeing batching and mixing processes, maintaining quality assurance programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12am Pay Info: $26-28 per hour Regular Responsibilities Include: • Signing off on batches by verifying correct weight and product code according to batch sheet • Dispense and verify lot numbers on bulk ingredient unloader and liquid inclusions • Record Lot numbers for all items consumed • Perform quality checks to ensure proper batching • Oversee mixing team and batcher to ensure compliance with best practices • Inventory management of raw ingredients • Maintain proper records • Follow all policies and procedure, including safety guidelines • Adhere to GMP and SQF guidelines Qualifications • Leadership attributes. Comfortable directing and delegating to a team of 3-6 people. • Detail Oriented. Excellent organizational and communication abilities. • Ability to Multitask • Strong background in enforcing quality programs and standards. • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. • Experience in batching, compounding, or mixing • Experience in a manufacturing environment in a supervisory role. Pet product or food manufacturing industry experience is preferred. • Experience with Inventory Management or ERP systems. • Forklift Certification is preferred. • Bilingual or Spanish speaking is a plus. • High School Diploma or equivalent.
