Responsibilities: • Drive big rigs in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring adherence to traffic laws. • Carry out comprehensive pre- and post-trip vehicle checks to confirm compliance with safety requirements. • Strategize the allocation of delivery routes to improve efficiency and meet specified deadlines consistently. • Maintain the condition of cargo during transport by adhering to industry regulations for securing it. • Partner closely with dispatchers to facilitate efficient communication and provide timely progress reports. • Maintain precise logs of hours, maintenance records, and delivery details. • Immediately inform supervisors of any accidents, equipment malfunctions, or violations. Qualifications: • Hold a valid Class A CDL license and a clear record behind the wheel. • Proficiency in time allocation and efficient route plotting. • Skilled in the safe transportation of heavy items through physical strength. • Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.
