LHH is working with a Chicago-based Insurance company that is looking to hire a Security Analyst with Armis and Data Analytics experience. This will be a 1 year+ project and will be 100% remote. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Security Analyst experience and has some project experience w/ Armis (can't be college work). Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Assist senior staff in evaluating, developing, implementing, and managing security standards, procedures, and guidelines across multiple platforms and diverse system environments (e.g., firm-wide, distributed, client-server systems, and e-applications). • Support the review, development, testing, and implementation of security plans, products, and control techniques (e.g., password administration, intrusion detection software, data encryption, data backup and recovery). • Help coordinate the reporting of data security incidents and participate in investigations as needed. • Provide technical support to clients, management, and staff in risk assessments and implementation of appropriate data security procedures and products. • Perform access control and account administration for critical information resources, including data access rules tables. • Act as a liaison to product groups and assist with the implementation of security technologies and application security. • Identify and escalate changes that may impact information security policies, standards, and procedures. Skills: Knowledge and Abilities • Strong understanding of security policy development and publication. • MYST have experience w/ Armis and Data Analytics • Knowledge of regulations (e.g., SOX, privacy laws) and internal controls as they apply to IT. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with peers, IT management, staff, and internal/external business partners. • Ability to manage multiple technical projects to completion. • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems; familiarity with additional technologies as required by the business area. • Preferred: Knowledge of the insurance industry. Education and Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. • Up to two years of technical experience in security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
