We’re growth-minded and deliver high-quality digital marketing for national, performance-driven brands. This Role is Right for You If… • You’re passionate about helping clients grow and succeed. • You use data and insights to guide strategic marketing decisions. • You’re comfortable pushing clients to be their best and handling tough conversations. • You think quickly and clearly in business situations. • You’re confident but humble, personable, positive, and growth-oriented. • You enjoy building strong relationships and serving as the link between clients and media teams. • You put in the effort needed to nurture strategic client partnerships. • You like working with smart, collaborative teammates who embrace new challenges. • You celebrate wins, learn from setbacks, and keep seeking improvement. • You can speak to the value and impact of digital marketing. • You thrive in a boutique agency environment and appreciate a “get it done” approach. What You’ll Do As an Associate SEO Manager, you’ll support the development and protection of organic visibility across both technical SEO and authority building. You’ll work alongside senior SEO team members to help ensure clients’ sites are discoverable, crawlable, and competitive. You’ll contribute to strategy execution, learn advanced SEO practices through hands-on experience, and help strengthen the foundation of each client’s organic growth. Key Responsibilities Authority Building, Link Acquisition, and Backlink Management • Support the execution of link-building and authority-focused initiatives, including digital PR, targeted outreach, content-led opportunities, and partnership research. • Assist in shaping authority roadmaps by gathering insights on competitive landscapes, industry trends, and backlink opportunities within each client’s vertical. • Monitor backlink profiles with guidance, reviewing link quality, authority gaps, link velocity, and competitive backlinks. • Help identify toxic or high-risk backlinks and assist with remediation steps, including outreach and disavow preparation. • Contribute to reporting on authority gains, digital PR results, and the impact of link acquisition on rankings, visibility, and conversions. Technical SEO • Assist in efforts related to site architecture, crawlability, indexation, structured data, and Core Web Vitals. • Help audit and diagnose technical SEO issues tied to site speed, mobile usability, duplicate content, and canonicalization. • Support senior SEO and development teams during site migrations, redesigns, and builds by documenting best practices and QAing updates. • Collaborate closely with Content and AEO peers to align technical and authority strategies with broader organic growth efforts. Reporting • Help track, analyze, and report on technical health, authority development, visibility trends, and keyword performance. • Assist in connecting SEO improvements to shifts in rankings, traffic, and conversions. What You'll Bring • Foundational SEO knowledge gained through coursework, internships, certificates, or self-directed learning. • Interest in both off-page authority and technical SEO, with a desire to grow into more advanced responsibilities. • Basic understanding of how websites work. Experience with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is helpful but not required. • Curiosity and comfort learning SEO tools including Screaming Frog, Moz, SimilarWeb, Search Console, and Bing Webmaster Tools. • Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data, recognize patterns, and present insights with guidance. • Ability to stay organized across multiple clients, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly with internal teams. • A growth mindset and openness to feedback as you continue developing your skill set, including emerging areas like generative search. Benefits • Competitive salary • 100% premium paid medical, dental and vision benefits for employees • 401K with salary match • Paid holidays • Competitive vacation and personal time-off package • Remote working • Company donation match – you donate, we donate • Time off for community service – because charity can’t always wait until evenings or weekends
