Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for a Litigation Associate with at least 3 years of complex litigation experience who is excited to take ownership of cases, grow quickly, and help shape the future of our expanding firm. What You’ll Do • Represent clients in federal and state courts and before agencies like the EEOC, MSPB, and professional boards. • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. • Advise clients on employment law and professional discipline matters. • Handle mediations, negotiations, and court appearances. • Participate in depositions and trials. • Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership (e.g., blogs, webinars, CLEs). • Meet a 1,700-hour billable target while maintaining balance and professional growth. What We’re Looking For Required: • 3+ years of complex employment litigation. • Maryland Bar License and D.C. Bar License. • Excellent legal writing and analytical skills. • Strong communication and client-relations abilities. Preferred: • Journal or moot court experience. • Experience with federal employee representation (EEOC, MSPB). • Familiarity with Title VII, ADA, and FMLA. • Experience litigating in federal court and handling summary judgment motions. • Taken or first-chaired at least one deposition.
