Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated CSDM/CMDB Business Analyst to support our organization's digital transformation and commitment to environmental sustainability. This role is crucial for leveraging high-quality configuration data to drive operational efficiency, reduce waste, and provide transparent reporting for our green IT initiatives. The analyst will be the bridge between IT practices and our corporate sustainability strategy, using data-driven insights to recommend and implement eco-friendly technology solutions. Key Responsibilities • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and operational documentation. • Analyze processes and identify alignment gaps relative to CSDM standards. • Validate development work and ensure it meets functional and architectural intent. • Define methodology to analyze data quality trends and identify recurring quality or process breakdowns. • For group standardization,1–2 Business Analysts will focus exclusively on partnering with CMDB and Group Governance teams to align intake and data quality and will drive adoption readiness activities for group governance and service owner enablement. • Develop and maintain documentation, playbooks, and guidance for operational teams and Service Owners and Support Staff. Required Experience • 3–5 years working with CSDM, CMDB, or ITSM processes. • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical stories. • Strong understanding of CSDM hierarchies, ownership models, and service lifecycles. • Experience writing clear documentation that supports both business and technical teams. • Experience with ServiceNow group functionality and alignment with Service Offerings. • Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and resolve conflicting priorities. • Strong process documentation, workflow mapping, and facilitation skills.
