What You’ll Do The Accounting Associate supports KVK Tech’s Accounting Department by performing day-to-day financial and administrative operations that ensure the accuracy and integrity of company financial data. This role processes accounts payable and receivable transactions, performs reconciliations, assists with month-end close, and supports internal and external audits. The position requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and demonstrates a strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and confidentiality standards within a regulated manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities: • Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payment requests, ensuring proper authorization, account coding, and compliance with company financial policies. • Prepare, review, and reconcile journal entries, general ledger postings, and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit memos, and customer return transactions; monitor and follow up on outstanding balances. • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses. • Assist with preparation of audit schedules and documentation for internal and external auditors. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement and Customer Service to validate purchase orders, debit/credit memos, and customer financial adjustments. • Track and update financial data using Excel and ERP systems; verify completeness and accuracy of supporting documentation. • Generate reports and maintain internal dashboards summarizing vendor activity, account status, and expense trends for management review. • Ensure confidential handling of all company financial data and compliance with applicable accounting and data integrity standards. • Perform additional accounting or administrative duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals. What We’re Looking For Experience: 2–7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, preferably within a pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated industry environment. Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline strongly preferred. Skills & Knowledge: • Solid understanding of GAAP principles and internal control practices. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent). • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with internal departments, vendors, and auditors. • Experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations, and audit preparation. • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and commitment to data integrity. • Certifications such as CMA, CB, or MOS Excel Expert are advantageous but not required.
