Realtime Solutions Engineer Overview We’re seeking a hands-on Realtime Solutions Engineer who thrives on building cutting-edge interactive experiences. In this role, you’ll rapidly craft real-time demos and prototypes that highlight the potential of a next-generation spatial streaming platform. You’ll work deeply with an evolving SDK—initially centered around Unity—to explore what can be achieved across multiple devices, environments, and use cases. If you enjoy pushing technical boundaries in 3D development while helping shape the developer experience of a new product, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities • Build polished proof-of-concept applications—beginning in Unity—spanning scenarios such as interactive product walk-throughs, live event viewing concepts, immersive trailer experiences, and dynamic e-commerce visualizations across a range of devices. • Partner with product and engineering teams to transform conceptual ideas or feature visions into functional applications that communicate platform capabilities. • Test and evaluate SDK features during implementation, identifying performance concerns, gaps, or enhancements that would improve developer usability. • Contribute to SDK development when required by extending or refining components to meet advanced application needs. • Deliver or refine technical demos for internal teams, leadership, and external audiences to clearly convey technical possibilities. • Collaborate with customer teams as prototypes evolve into production-ready solutions. • Stay up to date on advancements in AR/VR, mobile XR, real-time 3D development, rendering pipelines, and emerging 3D web technologies to explore new opportunities. • Rapidly iterate on experimental ideas, taking projects from concept to functional prototype with minimal direction. About You – Skills & Experience • Strong passion for immersive user experiences and polished interactive design. • Demonstrated history of building real-time 3D applications, supported by a portfolio or examples of prior work. • Expert-level Unity engineering skills, including C# scripting, performance optimization, rendering pipelines, and 3D graphics fundamentals. • Familiarity with integrating or extending SDKs, with an understanding of what makes a high-quality developer experience. • Deep understanding of 3D math, real-time rendering techniques, and graphics concepts. • Ability to independently create and iterate on prototypes from the ground up. • Skilled at solving complex technical challenges creatively and efficiently. • Strong communication abilities—capable of translating technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences. Nice-to-Have Qualifications • Experience building mobile applications for iOS or Android. • Game development background. • Exposure to modern graphics APIs (e.g., Metal, Vulkan, WebGPU). • Knowledge of rendering or streaming technologies. • Experience in C++ or Python. • Prior work in technical presales, solutions architecture, or developer relations. • AR/VR development experience.
