Must have 9 early childhood credits or CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education, at least one year of experience with children, and preferably CPR certification.
We are searching for a Lead Qualified Teacher for our Infant Classroom. Our Valley Stream Location is currently a start up location. With this in mind, we are seeking employers who have flexibility to train and work at our Lynbrook site until the remainder of our building becomes open. All candidates must have either 9 early childhood credits completed while pursuing an early childhood degree or have completed their CDA, Bachelor’s or Associate’s in Early Childhood Education. You must also have at least one-year experience in a classroom or working with children. This position is full-time Monday-Friday, hours to be discussed. Teacher expectations would be to engage the children through play & curriculum activities, set up & maintenance of the classroom is expected as well as feeding the children breakfast, lunch & snack. Completing daily reports using our APP, daily paperwork, diaper changing/potty training & taking the children to the bathroom, as needed. Also, communicating with parents and working alongside teachers in the classroom is an important function of how are school is run.
