We are seeking a versatile and skilled part-time Janitorial Services Technician to join our team. This role involves performing tasks that ensure a clean and organized building, along with occasional light building maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical skills and attention to detail, contributing to the overall functionality and appearance of our facilities. Key Responsibilities: Office Cleaning: • Clean and sanitize office spaces, including workstations, conference rooms, restrooms, and common areas. • Vacuum, mop, dust, and perform other cleaning duties as required to maintain a clean and organized office environment. • Follow established cleaning protocols and use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. • Replenish cleaning supplies as necessary Building Maintenance: • Perform routine inspections and light maintenance tasks around the building. • Address minor repairs and replacements, such as fixing leaks and changing light bulbs. • Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. • Report any major issues or needed repairs to the supervisor and coordinate with external contractors if necessary. General Duties: • Assist with setting up and arranging furniture or equipment for meetings and events. • Support other team members in various facility-related tasks as needed. • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees and visitors. • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certifications in building maintenance or related fields is a plus. • Proven experience in building maintenance and cleaning services. • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Working Conditions: • The role may involve working in various weather conditions and handling a range of cleaning chemicals and maintenance tools. • Must be able to work flexible hours if needed, including occasional weekends and evenings.
