Johnson Service Group (JSG), a nationally recognized recruiting firm is currently seeking a (nearly) Remote, Engineering Recruiter for our N. Charleston, SC office. *Only current/recent agency recruiting experience will be considered.* Candidate MUST reside within 150 miles of Charleston as this opportunity requires the recruiter to be in office, once/monthly. In this position, you will be responsible for providing direct hire recruitment services to our clients, with a STRONG EMPHASIS hiring engineers & field service technicians. The Engineering Recruiter will locate and hire candidates via JSG's exclusive internal database, job boards, personal contact networks, and creative recruiting efforts after extensive training. • A successful JSG Engineering Recruiter spends their day: Recruiting candidates using a wealth of resources (LinkedIn, Indeed, Zip Recruiter, Bullhorn, etc.) • Discovering, qualifying, and establishing relationships with candidates • Clearly communicating job responsibilities, company culture and operations, and community to candidates • Crafting a comprehensive verbal and written summary to accompany candidate submittals to the Sales Account Manager • Scheduling interviews and liaising between the candidate and Sales Account Manager • Consistently updating Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to reflect current candidate information, activity records and interview summaries • Researching, analyzing, and presenting hiring statistics to management • Meet weekly, quarterly, and yearly KPI's, provide strong client coverage, and contribute to team growth Our Recruiters work closely with the sales team to understand a client's culture, job requirements, and business relationship with JSG. As the main point of contact with candidates, our recruiters also build relationships with them to discover additional hiring opportunities. • Bachelor's Degree • 3+ years current/recent agency recruitment is required • 3+ years experience supporting MANUFACTURING clients with engineering, field service, professional/leadership, and hourly technician requisitions • Strongly prefer individuals with past experience working remotely or hybrid • Polished, professional written and oral communication is a must! • Individual must be willing to work outside of regular business hours on occasion to fit our candidate’s schedules | Core hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm • Must have an assertive "hunter" mindset with strong desire to earn additional compensation via commissions. • Proven client facing experience, demonstrating sociability • Ambition to build strong relationships and work with a team toward successfully filling roles
