Job Title: Sr SRE Manager (Security Clearance Must) Location: Needham, MA (Remote) Duration: 12+ Months (Contract to Hire) Interview mode: Video Interview Visa: USC Only Job Description Candidates must also be local to the area will give preference. Make sure candidates are fine doing small video screening with my vendor. USC for security clearance Required Experience • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach senior-level engineers. • Experience managing distributed teams across US, Canada, EU, and global time zones. • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration capabilities. • Strong understanding of cloud-native patterns, service-level objectives (SLOs), and error budgets. • Proven ability to translate operational pain points into engineering deliverables. • 15+ years of experience in infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering roles. • 5+ years of team management or technical leadership in SRE or DevOps. • 3+ years of experience building and scaling CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Terraform Cloud. • 2+ years of software development experience • Extensive experience with AWS and Azure managed services (EKS, AKS, RDS, Storage, ALB/NLB). • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, and service mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd). • Strong automation experience using Python, Bash, or Go. • Experience implementing FedRAMP, CMMC, or comparable regulatory requirements. • Familiarity with secrets management, workload identity federation, and boundaryless access control (e.g., SPIFFE, IRSA). • Be fully aligned to our core values: • Think Big - Be courageous and bold. Certs / Degree: Only nice to have Top Must Have's • The Application SRE Manager will need to have deep experience working in a global SaaS organization. • Strong experience with Kubernetes, Istio mesh. • Experience with Terraform (role requires about 25% coding). • It would be this person's responsibility to put in place the gating from a CI/CD pipeline perspective. • Experience with EKS and EDR. • Needs experience serving as an architect to work/advise engineering team of what is needed and pushing for it. • This role requires an individual who can: • Be given a project or initiative and figure out the right solutioning. • Champion and deliver against projects. Familiarity with Federal regulations requirements such as FedRAMP, ITAR, IL4/IL5 and CMMC
