Full Description

Position Summary As a Customer Support Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, assisting them with inquiries related to products, orders, repairs, and general information. You will represent our brand’s voice and values, ensuring every customer interaction is handled with empathy, professionalism, and care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, in a timely and professional manner • Assist customers with product questions, order placements, status updates, and repairs • Resolve customer complaints or issues efficiently. • Document all customer interactions and follow up when needed • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Production, Shipping) to resolve complex issues • Process sales orders for customers and for Joshua J. inventory products. • Filling the sales orders and job envelopes, pulling sales orders for the daily shipments. • Create new styles and maintain an updated workflow with the owner on ideas for new pieces. Invoicing • Generate invoices based on completed custom orders, repairs, or wholesale shipments. • Verify accuracy of pricing, labor charges, gemstones, and metals used. • Ensure all required documentation (certificates, appraisals, photos) is included with final invoices or shipments. Qualifications • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in luxury, fashion, or jewelry industries • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset • Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems quickly and effectively • Detail-oriented and organized with good time management skills Core Competencies • Learning Agility – eager to learn new systems, processes, and product knowledge. • Dependability – reliable in handling time-sensitive and confidential information. • Cross-Functional Collaboration – works effectively with multiple departments to support production and operations. • Accuracy & Detail Orientation – maintains high-quality data and inventory records.
