Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Support–Finance Associate to assist the finance department with daily operational, accounting, and reporting activities. This role provides critical support across budgeting, data accuracy, financial recordkeeping, and internal controls. Ideal for candidates pursuing a career path in finance, accounting, or financial operations. Key Responsibilities • Assist with daily finance operations including data entry, invoice processing, account tracking, and documentation control. • Support monthly and quarterly financial close activities by preparing reconciliations, reports, and journal entry backups. • Monitor financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper coding. • Prepare internal financial summaries, dashboards, and status reports for management review. • Assist with budget tracking, expense monitoring, and variance analysis. • Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. • Collaborate with finance, accounting, operations, and compliance teams to resolve data or documentation issues. • Support audit requests by preparing documentation and ensuring data completeness. • Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to enhance financial operations and workflow accuracy. Skills & Qualifications • Strong numerical reasoning and attention to detail. • Proficiency with MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred) and general finance software/ERP systems. • Basic understanding of financial statements, accounting terms, or transaction flows (training provided if entry-level). • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally. • Ability to work with sensitive financial information with discretion and professionalism. • Prior experience in finance, accounting, accounts payable/receivable, operations, or administrative roles is a plus but not required for junior applicants.
