Job Title: Ground Proximity Warning System (Software Engineer) Location: Phoenix, AZ (Remote) Duration: Full Time Experience: 8 15 years Key Skill: DO-178C, Deos RTOS, Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), C++, DOOR, Jira, Bit-Bicket, CCQ (Cross Crew Qualification), Clear Case, GPWS (Ground Proximity Warning System), TAWS (Terrain Awareness and Warning System) Job Description: This position will report to the Communication, Navigation and Surveillance Center of Excellence, working for the Weather Radar Team. Will be part of premier product that is "Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS)". Primary Role Requirement: 5-7 Years' Experience In Aerospace Or Similar Engineering Field Software architecture and development Experience In Direct Product Experience With EGPW Implementation of Software Change Requests Lead requirements decomposition in DOORs Lead Software and product integration Define and incorporate new features and functions. Support Verification and Validation team. Solid understanding of DO-178B/C software development process.
