You will work at the intersection of full-stack engineering, cloud architecture, and AI-driven innovation, translating complex concepts into secure, scalable, and production-ready systems. The role combines hands-on development with leadership responsibilities, mentoring engineers while building reusable frameworks and operationalizing AI capabilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, product managers, and compliance stakeholders, ensuring that software delivers measurable operational and patient impact. This is a high-impact, fast-paced environment ideal for engineers passionate about shaping the future of healthcare through technology and AI. \n Accountabilities: Architect, build, and deploy scalable, AI-enabled microservices using AWS, Python, and Node.js to power healthcare platforms processing high-volume clinical and claims data. Rapidly prototype and operationalize AI-driven features such as automated claims triage, intelligent document processing, and conversational assistants. Implement secure APIs, event-driven pipelines, and FHIR-based interoperability standards for healthcare data exchange. Build pipelines and interfaces to convert ML outputs into actionable intelligence for clinicians, payers, and operations teams. Lead, mentor, and guide engineers in best practices for secure coding, scalable architecture, and AI-assisted development. Ensure observability, reliability, and compliance of all systems using monitoring, logging, and automated alerting tools. Develop shared libraries, SDKs, and automation frameworks to accelerate AI product delivery across platforms. Evaluate emerging AI technologies and cloud services to advance innovation and technical modernization. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or technical lead role. Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Node.js, with experience in cloud-native and event-driven architectures. Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, intelligent agents, or IDP systems into production environments. Knowledge of Agent-to-Agent (A2A) and Model Context Protocol (MCP) frameworks. Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, and X12 interoperability standards and healthcare data governance. Experience using AI-assisted developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor). Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive technical vision to execution. Eligibility to obtain a U.S. government clearance (U.S. citizenship required). Preferred Experience: Prior experience in care coordination, claims processing, or patient engagement systems. Practical experience operationalizing LLM-based agents or automation pipelines in production. Background in generative AI integration within regulated environments. Experience developing microservice patterns and reusable architecture components at scale. Benefits: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage. 401(k) plan with employer match. Paid time off plus federal holidays. Corporate laptop provided. Professional training and development opportunities. Flexible remote work options.
