This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior IT Manager in the United States. This role is ideal for a hands-on technology leader who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. As Senior IT Manager, you will oversee the organization’s IT strategy, security compliance, and technology budget while maintaining the flexibility to dive into day-to-day technical operations. You will manage an IT team, optimize SaaS workflows, and ensure seamless integration across business systems. This position requires balancing strategic planning with operational execution, solving complex technical challenges, and enabling scalable growth. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, mentor team members, and implement solutions that enhance productivity and security across the organization. \n Accountabilities Define and execute IT strategy, maintaining an IT roadmap that supports scalable growth and operational efficiency. Manage and mentor IT staff, serving as both a strategic leader and hands-on technical contributor. Oversee administration of core business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, project management tools), handling complex configurations and integrations. Ensure data flow, automation, and system interoperability between business functions. Lead security, compliance, and governance initiatives including SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audits. Manage the IT budget, vendor relationships, and cost optimization strategies. Serve as the final escalation point for technical issues, support helpdesk operations, and maintain high-quality documentation and SOPs. Requirements 5+ years of experience in IT operations or systems administration. 3+ years of leadership experience, with the ability to remain hands-on. Expertise administering complex SaaS ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Google Workspace, Asana). Strong technical versatility, able to switch between strategic planning and hands-on problem solving. Experience architecting integrations and automations between business systems. Proven ability to manage budgets, vendor negotiations, and IT projects in a remote-first environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, translating technical concepts into business value. Preferred: SOC 2/ISO 27001 audit experience, macOS and MDM expertise, professional certifications in IT management or security. Benefits Competitive base salary with annual bonus potential.
