This role offers a high-impact opportunity to shape and lead cybersecurity strategy across modern cloud environments. The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures, ensuring enterprise-wide protection while managing risk and compliance. You will focus on cloud security, identity and access management, endpoint security, and security operations, while mentoring junior IT staff and driving organizational cybersecurity maturity. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, has hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, and is passionate about protecting digital assets while enabling business innovation. \n Accountabilities: Lead the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, and initiatives aligned with business objectives. Design, implement, and maintain security controls and policies within cloud environments, primarily Microsoft Azure. Oversee identity and access management (IAM) solutions, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), conditional access, PIM, and MFA. Architect and manage endpoint security, compliance, and configuration using tools like Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender. Proactively monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely remediation and reporting. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance policies. Evaluate, implement, and manage third-party security tools and services to enhance protection and efficiency. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior IT staff on cybersecurity best practices and threat mitigation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into business processes and technology initiatives. Requirements: 10–15 years of professional experience in IT security or related fields. Proven expertise in cloud security, particularly Microsoft Azure. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), conditional access, PIM, and MFA. Strong knowledge of endpoint security management, including Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender. Experience in monitoring, threat detection, and incident response. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and security standards (e.g., CISSP, AZ-500 preferred). Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex security risks to technical and executive audiences. Experience with security automation and scripting (PowerShell) is highly desirable. Knowledge of advanced security solutions such as Zscaler, DLP via Microsoft Purview, and email security platforms (e.g., Mimecast) is a plus.
