In this role, you will support the development, evaluation, and maintenance of high-quality instructional materials and learning experiences. You will collaborate closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure that curriculum content aligns with best practices in pedagogy, accessibility, and compliance standards. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset to assist in curriculum updates, quality assurance, and data-driven improvements. You will contribute to engaging learning experiences while helping maintain institutional standards, supporting both faculty and students in an educational environment. The role offers remote flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in curriculum quality and learner outcomes. \n Accountabilities: Assist in the design and development of course materials, including syllabi, assessments, and instructor guides. Evaluate curriculum effectiveness using feedback and data, identifying areas for improvement. Ensure instructional content complies with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), accreditation requirements, and institutional policies. Manage QA timelines, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Support faculty and staff through instructional design-related inquiries and ticket resolution. Maintain course book lists and update digital materials as needed. Participate in quality assurance reviews, accreditation mapping, and preparation for site visits. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development in higher education. Preferred: 1 year of experience teaching post-secondary students online. Basic knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and distance learning best practices. Proficiency with Learning Management Systems and Articulate 360; beginner knowledge of HTML. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication, active listening, and stakeholder engagement abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and demonstrate initiative and accountability.
