This role offers the opportunity to shape the user experience of large-scale, innovative applications used globally in the education space. You will lead frontend development efforts, building reusable, high-performance web components and microfrontends while collaborating closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers. Your work will directly impact educators and students, providing intuitive, reliable, and accessible interfaces. The ideal candidate thrives in a remote, collaborative environment, has deep expertise in modern frontend technologies, and enjoys mentoring peers while contributing to scalable and maintainable frontend architectures. \n Accountabilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable web components and microfrontends using frameworks such as Stencil.js, React, Angular, and TypeScript. Lead frontend architecture discussions, establishing best practices for performance, accessibility (WCAG compliance), and responsive design. Collaborate with backend teams to design APIs and ensure seamless integration across applications. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and perform regular code reviews to maintain high standards. Create robust unit and integration tests and debug performance issues across browsers and platforms. Mentor junior frontend engineers and share expertise in modern frontend technologies. Continuously optimize frontend performance, including asset management, lazy loading, and rendering pipelines. Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth CI/CD processes and successful deployment of frontend deliverables. Requirements: 10+ years of professional frontend development experience, with at least 2 years working on web components, microfrontends, Angular, and React projects. Proven experience building and maintaining reusable component libraries and design systems across multiple projects. Deep expertise in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Strong experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, or similar). Knowledge of frontend performance optimization and modern build tools (esbuild, Rollup, Vite). Familiarity with accessibility standards, responsive design, and frontend CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions). Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across distributed teams. Preferred: experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), Storybook, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and backend integration. Benefits: Competitive annual salary: $126,525–$210,875, bonus eligible. Fully remote work with flexible scheduling. Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Generous paid time off, including national holidays, self-care days, and founder days. Education reimbursement, volunteer time off, and charitable contribution match. Retirement plan with employer match/contributions. Wellness perks including monthly reimbursements and access to mental health support. Collaborative, inclusive, and mission-driven culture focused on education innovation. \n Jobgether is a Talent Matching Platform that partners with companies worldwide to efficiently connect top talent with the right opportunities through AI-driven job matching.
