This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Expert Technical Program Manager - Remote in the United States. We are seeking an Expert Technical Program Manager to lead enterprise-scale Agile initiatives and drive portfolio-level delivery excellence. This role involves partnering with executives, product and engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams to align strategy with execution and ensure measurable business outcomes. You will lead the adoption of Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) practices, establish and operate a Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE), and champion continuous improvement across programs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in Agile frameworks, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to optimize complex program delivery for maximum organizational impact. This position is fully remote and offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. \n Accountabilities: Establish and lead the Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) to drive enterprise Agile adoption and team effectiveness. Implement and optimize Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) practices, including portfolio kanban, funding models, and outcome-based reporting. Align portfolio execution with enterprise strategy, ensuring epics and features deliver measurable business value. Facilitate portfolio ceremonies, decision-making forums, and cross-team coordination to maintain transparency and collaboration. Define, track, and communicate portfolio-level metrics, reporting progress toward strategic objectives and performance targets. Identify, escalate, and mitigate enterprise-level risks, dependencies, and impediments affecting multiple teams or value streams. Partner with product, business, and finance leaders to prioritize investments, balance capacity, and optimize portfolio flow. Champion operational excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement across program delivery. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required; SAFe SPC or SPCP certification required (RTE, POPM, or equivalent preferred). 8+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager, Release Train Engineer, or Lean Portfolio Manager. 6+ years managing medium-to-large-scale Agile initiatives with complex technical dependencies. Proven experience standing up or leading a Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) or enterprise Agile transformation. Strong expertise with Agile management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, modern software engineering practices, and DevOps principles. Experience implementing or operating Lean Portfolio Management within a SAFe environment. Demonstrated success leading distributed or virtual teams. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with both technical and executive audiences.
