This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a DevSecOps Engineer (Remote) in United States. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and automated development and operations pipelines. You will be responsible for the architecture, deployment, and monitoring of subsystems within larger systems, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to accelerate delivery while ensuring operational reliability and security. This remote role offers exposure to advanced cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and DevSecOps best practices, providing opportunities to contribute to high-impact projects in a dynamic technical environment. Candidates will leverage their technical expertise to improve tools, processes, and system security across development and production environments. \n Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines for subsystems and small systems. Select and implement tools, technologies, and methodologies to support automated build, deployment, operation, and monitoring. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remove impediments, improving system delivery speed and reliability. Automate operational tasks using scripting and DevOps tools. Conduct system testing for security, performance, and availability. Maintain design, troubleshooting, and audit documentation. Implement security measures that align with industry standards and organizational requirements. Ensure the overall DevSecOps architecture is robust, secure, and scalable. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related IT discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years experience. Equivalent industry experience or certifications may substitute for formal education. Strong Linux administration and network infrastructure knowledge (BigIP F5, VPN, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, SFTP). Cloud infrastructure expertise, including AWS services (EC2, VPC, Lambda, S3, EFS, ECR/ECS, Route53, IAM, RDS, Autoscaling, CloudTrail, CloudWatch). Proficiency in CI/CD, application build/deploy pipelines, and version control tools (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Xray, Jira, SonarCube). Experience with configuration management and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform). Ability to write and troubleshoot code across compiled, scripted, or other formats. Knowledge of security testing, operational automation, and implementing security best practices. Active Sec+ or other cybersecurity certifications preferred. Desired: familiarity with Appian or MarkLogic platforms. Must be a U.S. citizen with eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level.
