This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Engineer in the United States. This role offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of a high-impact data platform. You will design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines and analytics systems that empower internal teams and support customer-facing products. The ideal candidate thrives in distributed system design, platform reliability, and cloud-native development, while collaborating closely across engineering teams. You will implement data ingestion, transformation, and modeling workflows using modern tools and technologies, ensuring high performance, reliability, and observability. This is a hands-on role where your work directly influences product capabilities and internal analytics. Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills are essential for success in this dynamic, fast-paced environment. \n Accountabilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data platform components for ingestion, transformation, and analytics. Build and operate containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Helm. Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Glue. Build and scale data pipelines using tools such as Airbyte, Rudderstack, Kafka, and DBT with Snowflake. Develop real-time analytics datasets in ClickHouse to support high-concurrency workloads. Implement CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions and ensure robust observability using Datadog. Collaborate with production engineering teams to align platform infrastructure with broader engineering standards. Apply data governance and quality best practices across pipelines and platform components. Requirements: Strong software engineering foundation with experience operating production infrastructure. Proficiency in SQL and Python programming. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, and cloud provisioning with Terraform. Deep knowledge of AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, Glue). Experience with data warehousing and modeling in Snowflake, including DBT transformations. Familiarity with data ingestion tools (Airbyte, Rudderstack), messaging systems (Kafka), and high-performance analytics databases (ClickHouse). Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and monitoring/observability tools like Datadog. Strong troubleshooting skills for complex distributed systems. Excellent written communication and documentation skills. High organizational ability and effective collaboration across engineering teams.
