Description We have an immediate opening for a full-time Project Architect. We are seeking candidates who are dedicated to design excellence and have a passion for the craft of architecture and construction. The ideal candidate will be adept at producing comprehensive construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD. Experience in residential, multi-family housing, resort projects, and public education in California is preferred. Note that this position requires in-office attendance, and remote work opportunities are not available. Responsibilities • Create and manage detailed design and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD. • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and other designers throughout the design documentation process. • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills while coordinating with architectural teams, clients, consultants, and contractors. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Architecture with valid architect licensure. • A minimum of 8 years of relevant architectural work experience. • Experience in residential architectural design through all project phases is highly preferred, coupled with knowledge of materials and detailing. • Experience in resort, hospitality, and recreational projects is advantageous. • Creative design skills that complement our IMAGINE | DESIGN | BUILD studio approach. • Expert proficiency in Revit with at least 5 years of hands-on experience. • Proficiency in Navisworks, SketchUp, Photoshop, and InDesign is a plus. • Experience in contract administration is beneficial. • Familiarity with commercial or institutional projects is a plus. • Solid understanding of building codes, regulations, ADA, and Title 24. • Background in sustainable design is an asset; LEED AP certification is a plus. • Demonstrated technical aptitude, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. • Effective written, graphic, and oral communication skills. • A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead project team members and enjoy the process! Salary for this position varies based on qualifications and experience. It does not include additional compensation elements such as bonuses, paid time off, and benefits. We anticipate that candidates will not start in the top half of the salary range listed, as decisions will be based on individual qualifications.
