Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will engage with customers, assist them in finding products, and promote sales through effective upselling techniques. Responsibilities • Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting products that meet their needs. • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively. • Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales. • Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking merchandise and ensuring displays are well-presented. • Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary. • Process transactions accurately using retail math skills to ensure correct pricing and change. • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. • Supervise junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance. Experience • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. • Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately. • Experience in supervising or mentoring staff is a plus but not mandatory. • A genuine interest in sales and a willingness to learn about products is highly valued.
