About the Opportunity Our client, a leading supplier of automotive robotic equipment in the Detroit metropolitan area, is seeking a Territory Account Manager to join their Auburn Hills team. This role centers on supporting local automotive customers, representing advanced automation systems, and contributing to growth in one of the most active automotive robotics markets in the country. This position is hybrid with time spent in the Auburn Hills office and regular travel to customer facilities The Role The Territory Account Manager will manage existing automotive accounts in southeast Michigan and develop new business within OEM and Tier suppliers. The position blends office collaboration with on site visits. Candidates with three or more years of experience in robotics, automation, or industrial equipment are encouraged to apply, including those coming from field service or engineering roles. Key Responsibilities • Support and expand existing automotive robotics accounts in the Auburn Hills region. • Identify new business opportunities with OEM and Tier suppliers. • Provide on site demonstrations and customer support. • Coordinate travel for customer visits to maintain account relationships. • Collaborate with engineering and applications teams to craft proposals. • Maintain accurate documentation of account activity and pipeline movement. • Participate in office based meetings, trainings, and team collaboration. Qualifications • Three or more years of experience in robotics, automation, or industrial equipment. • Experience in field service, applications engineering, customer support, or sales. • Understanding of automotive manufacturing environments. • Strong communication and relationship building abilities. • Comfort with short regional travel. • Organized, proactive, and able to balance office and field work.
