Project/Program Manager – Workday Migration & Change Management 100% Remote; PST Must Have skills: Project/Program Management Workday migration / HR System Migration Strong Change management Good Communication Skills AWS is good to have More functional experience Job Description: Lead a critical Workday migration project transitioning from private SaaS data centers to AWS public cloud, aimed at enhancing reliability, security, and scalability. This role focuses primarily on change management, testing, and communications not traditional program management. You will collaborate across talent teams, technology, finance, and other impacted groups to successfully manage integration changes, execute rigorous testing, and lead stakeholder communications throughout the transition. Key Responsibilities: • Lead organizational change initiatives related to the Workday migration, ensuring smooth adoption across all impacted personas. • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive communication plans to engage all stakeholders effectively. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Talent, Technology, Finance, and more to identify and address integration changes and dependencies. • Create and oversee execution of detailed test scripts and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate readiness and functionality. • Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities to optimize the change and testing process. • Foster a flexible yet disciplined approach to work, balancing rigor with adaptability in a fast-paced environment valuing people over processes. Qualifications: • Strong change management ownership (company-wide impact, multiple personas, communications planning, readiness). • Proven program/project management for large, cross-functional initiatives (preferably migrations). • Experience with HR/talent domain and ideally Workday; at minimum, HR systems/change in HR organizations. • Comfort driving UAT: defining end-to-end scenarios, coordinating test scripts, assigning testers, tracking results. • Excellent written and verbal communication; clear, concise, and confident with senior stakeholders. • High accountability, proactive and self-motivated; able to anticipate needs and drive work with minimal oversight. • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management across HR, Tech, Finance and other workstreams. • Experience leading change across global, remote teams; able to work effectively in a fast-paced, low-process environment. • Nice-to-have: prior Workday-to-cloud or similar SaaS migration experience; ability/willingness to speak with reference customers. • Availability to work largely in Pacific Time hours and commit through mid-May for cutover and hypercare.
