Job Description: Ensure policies and procedures of the company are followed correctly to manage and mitigate risks through the use of evolving technology and systems requiring an enhanced skillset with high analytical impact. Provide quality, accurate and timely job functions involving daily processing of financial transactions in a high paced environment. Work with moderately complex issues on a daily basis and conduct a variety of routine daily tasks, review reports and prepare correspondence. Perform various operational background duties related to new account review, transaction monitoring, digital banking and mobile banking, ACH and Wire origination, application reconciliations, exception requests and customer disputed transactions. Respond professionally to inquiries by other departments and customers at times, determine appropriate response or direction, and resolve problems within given authority. Must have a broad understanding of Bank products, regulations, processes and procedures. With the growth of the Operations department, the Operations Analyst role may focus on specific areas within the department while remaining cross-trained for coverage and dual control. Duties and Responsibilities: Will be involved as primary or secondary on many of the following: • Check and verify exception items and routinely help with GL and bank balancing • Resolves account processing errors and resolution requests • Perform Incoming and Outgoing ACH and Wire Origination • Input transactions into FedLine and other correspondent systems • Conduct complex account research • Monitor and review electronic account and transactional data for suspicious activity and possible fraud • Apply sound judgment, effectively solve problems and identify unusual activity consistently • Daily perform a variety of administrative, reconciliation, and item processing and/or data entry functions necessary for the processing of the department • Daily post entries to accounts, make adjustments, and ensure balancing as required • Periodically prepare volume, transaction and/or routine reports • Perform a wide variety of routine clerical duties • Other responsibilities and tasks deemed appropriate by Management Other Key Job Functions: • Communicate effectively with Senior Management, Auditors, Vendors, and other bank personnel. • Adhere to all bank and department personnel policies and procedures. • Perform other reasonably related job responsibilities as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Knowledge and adherence to appropriate banking laws and regulations, and bank policies and procedures. • Advanced knowledge of bank operations, systems and deposit products. • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. • Excellent written & oral communication. • Initiative, dependability and ability to work with minimum supervision. • Ability to make efficient, quality decisions as needed within stated limits. • Strong attention to detail. • Regular reliable attendance and punctuality are essential functions to this position.
