Bachelor's degree preferred, 4+ years technical sales in fluid transfer industry, experience managing distribution networks, strong negotiation and communication skills, willingness to travel up to 50%, and ability to work independently from home.
Job Description: • Manage, expand, and optimize business with existing distributors while developing relationships with new partners in the assigned territory. • Drive sales growth through strategic pricing, freight considerations, product knowledge sessions, and promotional events. • Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the assigned territory to meet and exceed revenue targets. • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, delivering value-added solutions that exceed customer expectations. • Provide accurate market intelligence to senior management through sales forecasts, bi-weekly conference calls, and monthly reports. • Attend and represent the company at relevant trade shows, conferences, and industry exhibitions. • Coordinate product delivery and project execution with customers and manufacturing teams. • Partner closely with inside sales and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate quoting, order fulfillment, and customer support. Requirements: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred. • Experience: o Minimum 4 years of technical sales experience in the fluid transfer industry (pipes, fittings, valves, or related). o Proven success managing a distribution network and driving sustained sales growth. o Experience applying data and market analysis to guide sales decisions. • Skills: o Strong negotiation, relationship management, and presentation skills. o Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. o Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and virtual meeting platforms. • Other: o Willingness to travel up to 50% across the Southeast region. o Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a home office environment.
