General information Country United States City Remote Location Job ID 46791 Department Sales Experience Level DIRECTOR Employment Status FULL_TIME Workplace Type Remote Description & Requirements The Technology & Innovation sales director is responsible for leading, coaching, and managing a team of sellers promoting and selling Infor innovation solutions into existing and net new customers. The sales director will proactively provide oversight in sales motions to position the value proposition of all Infor technology & innovation solutions including Augmented Intelligence Service (AI/ML), Velocity Suite (includes Process Mining, RPA, IDP, GenAI, and Value+ automation catalog), and AI Agents/Agentic AI. The sales director must have a passion for coaching technology sellers to develop compelling innovation stories for manufacturers, distributors, food & beverage, and retail/fashion accounts through the lens of customer outcomes and the economic benefit of digital transformation. Responsibilities include attracting, hire, retain, and manage North America technology sellers and provide managerial guidance allowing the team to exceed established bookings targets. Additionally, execute marketing plans with Infor solutions marketing, business development representatives, and industry selling teams. Develop collaborative working relationships with industry FLM’s and North America leadership. Requires travel up to 50%. A Day in The Life Typically Includes: • Coach sellers in developing account strategies and tactical penetration plans for target accounts within sales territories. Encourage technology sellers to develop effective relationships with key business stakeholders to understand business pain points and align the appropriate Infor solution to meet their business needs. • Participate in sellers’ business stakeholder presentations and proposals that outline transformational business outcomes in business-oriented language. • Challenge sellers to think differently about their customers’ business through compelling innovation strategies based on ROI cost/benefit analysis. • Challenge sellers to become a “student of the business” by participating in vertical-specific user groups and monitoring competitor activities and offerings. • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. • Monitor and keep up to date sellers deal progress and activities within their territory for each account in internal systems of record (CRM, Teams, etc.). Regularly communicate with sales leadership an accurate forecast of expected revenue. Basic Qualifications: • Experience selling AI/ML, Generative AI, Enterprise Automation, Enterprise Integration, and Process Intelligence technologies. • Experience with businesses and buying processes. • Experience managing technology-focused sales teams. • Experience managing sales cycles simultaneously. • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
