We specialize in producing high-quality fabricated parts with powder and liquid paint finishes. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented QC Inspector with a background in sheet metal manufacturing. No job hoppers — we are looking for someone seeking long-term stability and growth. Position Summary: The QC Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections of fabricated sheet metal parts, including cosmetic evaluation of powder-coated and liquid-painted components. The ideal candidate has solid knowledge of QC processes in a fabrication environment and consistently delivers accurate, thorough results. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of QC inspection experience in a sheet metal fabrication manufacturing facility • Strong experience with cosmetic inspection of powder-painted and liquid-painted parts • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions desired • Experience using common inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, angle gauges, etc.) • Basic understanding of paint, welding, laser cutting, forming, and assembly processes is a plus • Excellent attention to detail and consistency in documentation • Reliable work history — no job hoppers • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with production teams (Bilingual Spanish a plus) Key Job Tasks: • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections on fabricated sheet metal components • Conduct cosmetic inspections of powder-coated and liquid-painted surfaces • Verify product dimensions using standard measuring tools • Compare finished parts to drawings and specifications • Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation • Assist in root-cause analysis and corrective actions when quality issues arise • Work closely with production staff to ensure quality standards are consistently met • Ensure that all quality procedures and company standards are followed Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee assistance program • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Experience: • first-piece, in-process, & final inspection: 2 years (Required) • sheet metal fabrication: 2 years (Required) • inspection of powder & liquid painted metal parts: 2 years (Preferred) • using standard measuring tools: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
