Summary Our client in the construction industry is seeking an HRIS Specialist with expertise in Workday HCM to join their Human Resources team. The talent will serve as the HCM subject matter expert for Workday implementation, playing a pivotal role in transforming how they manage and interact with HR data. This role leads process development, support system implementation, and partners with leaders and employees to ensure effective adoption and use of Workday. Responsibilities • Lead Workday configuration and collaborate with HR, business leaders, IT, and consultants (System Implementor) to define requirements and design workflows. • Oversee date migration, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integration with legacy systems. • Serve as Workday subject matter expert, providing training, guidance, and ongoing support for HR and business teams. • Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and organizational policies • Manage daily HRIS operations, including user access, data accuracy, and system performance. • Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity across HR functions. • Troubleshoot issues, perform system updates, and recommend process improvements. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HRIS roles, with direct experience implementing or supporting an HRIS; strongly preferred Workday experience. • Strong understanding of HR processes, data management, and system configuration. • Proven experience with data analysis, migration, validation, and technical documentation • Ability to document technical concepts and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Process-oriented, collaborative, and committed to improving efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience through technology.
