We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Vice President of Launch Excellence to lead the end-to-end planning and execution of a first-in-class TCR-T cell therapy launch in melanoma. FLSA Classification: Salary, Exempt Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Monday to Friday; Fully Remote Reports to: Senior Vice President, Commercial Location: Fully Remote What You’ll Do: As a Vice President, Launch Excellence you will play a key role in supporting our commercial operations: Launch Strategy & Leadership • Develop and own the global launch plan for the TCR-T cell therapy, including short- and long-term milestones. • Translate strategic imperatives into operational execution across geographies and functions. • Serve as the cross-functional launch lead, coordinating Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Market Access, Manufacturing, and Clinical teams. • Cross-Functional Integration • Chair the launch excellence governance committee and ensure all workstreams are on track. • Foster collaboration between early-stage development teams and late-stage commercial functions. • Align internal and external stakeholders (e.g., co-commercialization entities) around shared launch goals. Market & Customer Readiness • Partner with Commercial, Medical & CMC teams to define the ideal patient journey and treatment algorithm for TCR-T in melanoma. • Guide creation of field force strategy, segmentation, targeting, and deployment models. Operational Readiness • Drive operational launch readiness including supply chain, QA, and manufacturing logistics, especially given the personalized and complex nature of TCR-T therapy. • Establish and track launch KPIs, success metrics, and risk mitigation strategies. • Ensure compliance and regulatory readiness across launch markets. Market Access & Value Communication • Collaborate with Market Access to shape pricing, reimbursement, and health economics strategies. Required Experience and Education: • 15+ years of biopharma experience with at least 10 years in oncology; cell/gene therapy a must. • Proven track record of at least one successful US cell therapy product launch. • Deep understanding of the melanoma treatment landscape, therapeutic decision-making, and patient access barriers. • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams and launch readiness governance. • Strong strategic planning, operational execution, and change management skills. • Excellent communication and influencing ability across executive and functional teams. • Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, or business (MBA, PhD, MD, or equivalent). Preferred Experience and Education: • Experience with TCR, CAR-T, or TIL cell therapies. • Knowledge of personalized manufacturing and vein-to-vein logistics. • Familiarity with digital launch excellence tools and analytics. There may be frequent interruptions with moderate noise levels and frequent use of printers, copiers, scanners, computers and other office equipment. Travel required: up to 25% travel required, domestically and internationally.
