Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical production equipment while maintaining safety and documentation standards.
Requires in-depth electrical and mechanical experience, PLC troubleshooting, automation environment experience, and ability to operate forklifts with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities: • Regular inspection, troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and mechanical production, Conveyor Experience equipment throughout the facility. • Detecting malfunctions and defects in electrical and mechanical systems on all automation equipment. • Ensuring the compliance of all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while conducting work functions. • Maintaining a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted. • Efficiently managing time and completing all tasks assigned by the supervisory authority. • Reporting damages, defects and other issues pertaining to electrical and mechanical units to the supervising manager. • Documenting spare and replacement parts required and completing all necessary documentation for the same. • Appropriately using and handling all electrical repair and testing tools and equipment. • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. • Other duties as assigned. Pay Rate Starting $25.00 Shift Hours 12 noon to 10:00pm #IND123 • In depth electrical and mechanical experience. • Proficient in working with voltages from 24 volts to 480 volts. • PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience. • AVG (Automated Guided Vehicle) or LVG (Laser Guided Vehicle) experience. • Knowledge of working with HMI's. • Ability to work independently. • Proficient in Preventative Maintenance tasks and services. • Automation experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. • Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines. • Sound understanding of using all electrical testing equipment. • Ability to use efficiently various power and hand tools. • Ability to operate a forklift. • Should follow oral or written instructions. • Team mindset. • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships. • High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education • Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time.
